Students decide on a teacher through the teacher's profile, so it is very important that you fill out your profile very carefully. The first impression is very important, try to upload a friendly professional photo and video to your profile.
Teachers can flexibly determine the price and lesson time themselves. We recommend starting with a lower price, you can change the price and the lesson time at any time.
Ask for referrals from happy students. If the student is very happy with you as a teacher, he or she would probably be happy to recommend you to his friends as well.
Politely ask the happy students if they can write a review for you. Students usually read reviews before booking a teacher, positive reviews would help students book lessons with you.
This is your first lesson with a student, try to prepare well. A trial lesson is for the teacher and the student to get to know each other and to find out what the student wants to learn. Make a study plan with the student and try to teach around 20 to 30 minutes to convince the student and show the student your teaching style. If the first lesson goes well, the student will most likely book more lessons with you.
Try not to miss your class. If it did happen, contact the student as soon as possible to apologize and suggest an alternative date.
If the student does not show up for class on time, wait until he or she comes and contact him or her via the BLUEXEE message system.
If the student does not show up and the teacher is entitled to the past lesson, we would still recommend accommodating the student and offering an alternative lesson as it is a long-term investment to solve the problem remotely.
