You can teach a maximum of two subjects on BLUEXEE.
The hourly rate can be decided yourself. Set a lower rate in the beginning to get more students to your profile. You can change it anytime. You can also have a look at the other teachers’ profiles to get an idea of what a good profile could look like.
Please include two or three experiences that outline your qualification as a qualified teacher. To work with BLUEXEE you don't need a teaching certificate. Your certificate will not be published but is used as a proof, as BLUEXEE makes a difference between Professional Teacher (including teaching certificate or similar university degree) and Tutor (includes no experience or teaching experience, students).
You can apply as a Professional Teacher if you
Have a university degree in teaching as a foreign or second language
Have a professional employment as a language teacher
Note: Any necessary documents must be uploaded to the "Certificates" sectionHave a teaching Certificate like CELTA, TEFL, etc.
In case you have worked with other language teaching platforms, your application is usually processed faster, so please make sure to state this accordingly on the application form.

Introduce yourself and welcome your viewers or students to your classroom. Include your background, what is your work history? What is your education background? Students also like to read about you as a person, so make sure to mention family, pets, hobby, or interest (just a few). Let potential students know, that you want to teach them so write a few lines about your teaching style and why you like teaching.
Write a headline that gives a short impression of you as a teacher. A good example could be "IELTS Certified teacher with 5 years of Experience".
The video introduction should match your written introduction, so make sure to include an introduction and welcome your viewers or students to your classroom. Speak about your work and educational background and introduce yourself and speak about your family and your interests shortly, so that the students get a personal impression about you. Let potential students know, what are your reasons to teach and how you approach your teaching online.
It is mandatory to upload an introduction video, you can change the video anytime. After uploading your video, you can watch and re-record your video before submitting. It is worth having a look at other teachers’ videos to get an impression on how to record a good video.

As a first step set your time zone correctly. This helps to coordinate with international students who might have different time zones. As the next step, set your availability that show your potential working hours. Students can book lessons with you at these times only. It is preferably to set regular times at the same day and time to make it easier for students to have regular classes with you. However, you can manage your availability according to your own schedule.
